Get Involved

There are opportunities to serve at Mass and help with preparation for Mass. These include such things as being a Lector at Mass, singing in the choir, or being an usher. You can find information about these under Liturgy in the Ministries menu above.

At our parish of St. Helen we have several organizations to foster community, friendship, and fellowship in Christ, for example, the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, and Super Seniors. You can find the full list under Groups in the Ministries menu above.

Christian discipleship is a life-long following of Christ and being formed in the Holy Spirit. We are challenged to spiritually grow by studying the Scriptures, learning more about our Faith, and practicing prayer and virtue. Opportunities for these can be found under Adult Faith Formation in the Formation menu above.

As Christians, we are called to self-sacrificial service to the poor and needy through Christ, the God, who is Love itself. St. Helen offers various ways to help serve others in stewardship such as the Society of  St. Vincent de Paul or Funeral Meals, among others.
